a dumpling date

His name is Adam and I met him a few weeks ago. After an initial flourish of catching up, things went quiet and I kind of figured it was done with. After a couple of sporadic text messages and phone calls last week, he explained that he's just super busy but did want to catch up again.

He called yesterday afternoon about dinner, his suggestion was this pokey, local dumpling and noodle house down in Potts Point. He had me at hello, so dumplings was an added bonus.

We had a lovely relaxed dinner and then found a gelato bar closer to home where we sat close and slurped gelato. He invited me to go back to his to watch a DVD but I thought that was enough for now. I'm still not quite sure what is going on with him, and what I want from it. I quite like him, he's devillishly handsome, interesting and good company.

But after all the dramas of late, I'm determined not to rush into anything so I can be sure that if I put my heart on the line again, that it's as sure a bet as I can make.
